We don't have the results for you quite yet, but as promised, we have an update on the judging progress!
All of the judges are scheduled to be finished their reading by this weekend. From there, I will be looking at each judge's rankings to identify which stories made their top percentage of scores in each age category.
Those stories will make up the shortlist. Judges will then do a final review of the shortlist and assign final scores, which will be used to determine the 2 runners-up and 1 winner in each of the age categories.
I can tell you that I did the first pass of every story submitted to double-check that the form formatted stories correctly, and I was stunned by the range, creativity, and strength of the stories. Thank you for sharing your work with us and giving us the opportunity to read it!
I anticipate us being able to announce the final decisions within the next 2-3 weeks, when I will follow up with another announcement!
