Meet the Leviathan

The Leviathan Storage Box is our most versatile and comprehensive storage system.

  • At maximum capacity, each box holds up to 1440-1,728 cards
  • Each box has 24 storage trays (3 rows of 8)
  • Each tray holds 60-72 unsleeved cards (1 expansion or 3 boosters)
  • We designed the box to work without dividers. By storing cards on their sides, you can always see the card type icon on the back or the expansion icon on the front. Place expansion booklets sideways for easy identification, or use them as dividers within a tray.
  • For those who prefer dividers, we created a printable PDF.

There are generally two ways people arrange their collection:

  1. Organize by card type
  2. Organize by deck/expansion/booster set.

We've included photo guides to both systems below.

Organize by Card Type

Organizing by card type is ideal if you like to mix genres and would prefer to randomly draw cards from different expansions within the same prompt rather than choose when to draw them.

Main decks organized by card type.

To organize by card type:

  1. Open your decks, expansions, and boosters and group all cards of the same type together.
  2. One card type at a time, place blocks of approximately 60 cards of the same type into a tray before filling the next tray with additional cards of the same type. Place cards on their sides so the card type icon on the back is visible. Keep cards from the same deck system together.
  3. When you have organized all cards of a single type, do the same for the next card type starting with an empty tray. Do not place cards of different types in the same tray.

Organize by Deck/Expansion/Booster Set

Organizing cards into blocks for each deck, expansion, and booster set is ideal if you like to choose when you draw on cards from a particular genre, rather than having them come up randomly during a prompt.

Here's how to organize your cards:

Main Decks: Allocate 1 tray to each card type from each main deck. Turn cards sideways so the card type icon on the card back is visible.

Expansions: Allocate 1 tray per expansion. Turn cards sideways so the expansion icon on the card face is visible. On the other side of the tray, place the expansion guide booklet sideways so the expansion icon on the cover is visible.

Boosters: Allocate 3 boosters per tray, using the booster guide booklets as dividers between them. Turn cards sideways so the booster icon on the card face is visible. Turn the booster guide booklets sideways so the booster set icon on the cover is near the top of the tray. For added divider visibility, place the booklets in plastic sleeves.

How We Organize Our Cards

We need to be able to find specific expansions for demos and livestreams, so we organize our cards by expansion.

Box 1: Main Decks + Bridge Expansions

  • 1st column of 8 trays: 6 trays of Deck of Worlds +1 tray of focus sleeves + 1 tray of Lore Master's Deck Tokens
  • 2nd column of 8 trays: 8 trays of Lore Master's Deck
  • 3rd column of 8 trays: 3 trays of Bridge Expansions + 5 trays of The Story Engine Deck

Note that the main decks can be compressed to 2 card types per tray if you need additional room.

Box 2: Expansions + Promo Cards

  • 2nd column of 8 trays: 1 tray of Deck of Worlds expansion + 1 tray of sleeves + 3 trays of Lore Master's Deck expansions + 1 tray of promo cards + 2 trays of Story Engine expansions
