Thanks to everyone who helped share our Black Friday tree-planting initiative!
As we were making our donation to Eden Reforestation Projects' work in Madagascar, we decided to extend the promotion to also plant 1 tree for every PDF purchase of a deck, set, or bundle on our store.
In total, our donation was enough to plant 669 trees* in critically endangered mangroves. These coastal forests play a critical role in the ecology and economy of Madagascar's coastline.
We'll definitely bring back other giveback initiatives for future promotions. The Story Engine community continues to floor me with their inspiration and generosity, from the response to our Ukrainian/Syrian relief fundraiser, to the knowledge-sharing and creative innovation I see in the community-run Facebook group.

*This promotion was originally scheduled to end on November 29, but our Cyber Monday email for the PDF sale/tree-planting fundraiser accidentally went out one week late. To honor the email promotion we just sent, we reinstated both promotions until midnight PST on December 5. The total of 669 trees represented the results of both fundraisers (502 + 167)!
